Volunteers still needed to scare the trail || Oct. 4-5, 2019

As the haunts begin to flaunt, the annual Reno Haunted Trail could utilize more volunteers for the trail’s scares.

Amanda Willows, vice-chairman of the Reno Parks and Trail Committee, said volunteers are needed to scare on the Reno Rail Trail, help at Reno City Hall and with the entrance and exit to the trail.

“We also have room for more sections if people would like to gather friends and family and have their own section,” Willows said.

Willows said the annual haunted trail has helped provide new playground equipment, and “has allowed us to have numerous free events for our community – including our annual Christmas festival, Fairies in the Forest and the Summer Celebration.

“We have an incredible Christmas Festival coming up this year that will include a giant snow slide,” Willows said. “None of this would be possible without the many volunteers who join us each year for this thrilling fundraiser.:
