The Paris Wildcats dominated the Dallas Carter Cowboys on Friday in Denison to send them on to the second round of the playoffs.

With a first-quarter score of 17-0, the Wildcats continued to increase their lead while simultaneously shutting down the Cowboys offense. Thanks to the talents of running back Do’rian Williams and cornerback Jaylen Henderson the ‘Cats headed to halftime with a score of 38-0.

Capitalizing on the Cowboys’ mistakes, the Wildcats continued to play smash-mouth football on both sides of the ball, increasing their lead to a staggering 45-0 at the end of the third quarter. Knowing they had all but secured the win, the Wildcat second string finished out the game with a final score of 59-12.

Nothing but smiling faces were seen as the ‘Cats celebrated with the fans that came out to support.

Celebrating their win by holding the bi-district trophy, the Wildcats are as eager as ever to play next week against the Kennedale Wildcats in Mckinney at 7 p.m.
